Magnesium deficiency-Wheat

Symptoms
Proceeding from the leaf tip, older leaves become pale green with beading of chlorophyll (easy to reveal by holding leaf to sunlight). Striped appearence because of interveinal chlorosis. Small bright freckles spread over the leaf. Leaf tip shows beginning necrosis.

Magnesium deficiency

Symptoms
Older leaves become pale green with beading of chlorophyll. Chlorosis and Necrosis of leaf margins, proceeding from leaf tip, can be seen in more severe cases. Easy to reveal by holding leaf to sunlight.

Reasons
Magnesium deficiency Drought can also cause marginal necrosis.

Leaves appear pale green with beading of the chlorophyll. Leaves with more severe Mg deficiency (centre) show leaf margin necrosis.
